A Fresh Look for a Timeless Tradition
For decades, the Mercy Charity Ball has been one of Northwest Arkansas’s premiere fundraising events. In 2025, we had the honor of producing this iconic gala for the first time, and our team was excited to help refresh its production with a bold new design that honored the event’s legacy while elevating the guest experience.

A Red-Carpet Welcome
Guests were greeted with a visual journey the moment they arrived. We contracted multiple creative vendors to create an immersive experience featuring towering giant orbs and a dynamic entry tunnel constructed from modular exhibit pieces.
We integrated LED elements and uplighting with the tunnel, creating a walk-through moment that brought out the inner child in everyone. Adults and kids alike paused to marvel, snap photos, and kick off the night in wonder.

Lobby Design with Purpose
We used large LED displays throughout the pre-function lobby to brand the event, spotlight sponsors, and set the tone for the evening. One key focal point was an LED arch built with our specialty corner and 90° LED tiles, fully rebranding the venue entrance that typically reads “Grand Ballroom.” That arch became a magnet for photos and a signature moment before guests even took their seats.

A Bold New Main Stage
Inside the ballroom, we debuted a new stage design to mark a new chapter in the event’s evolution. Our design featured a flying LED header in a triangle configuration, flanked by matching vertical LED columns that framed the stage with symmetry and intention.

We used those vertical screens to display the event title and client name vertically—clean, creative branding adjoined into the design. Flanking the LED were vertical lighting battens, echoing the lines of the LED and creating visual cohesion across the entire set.
LED + Projection: Smart Hybrid Choices
We paired a super-sized center LED wall for video playback with side projection screens for supplemental content like IMAG and calls to action. This hybrid setup was intentionally designed to balance impact and budget—using LED where it mattered most, and projection where it still delivered value.

The result was seamless. With calibrated brightness and color across all surfaces, guests noticed the content—not the technology.
A Moment to Remember
One of the most special moments of the evening came when the world’s wealthiest woman, known for her humility and generosity, took the stage. The room paused in reverence. It was an honor to support such a meaningful recognition moment for someone who has quietly made an enormous impact in the Mercy community.

Creative Clients Spark Creative Results
While we handled the tech, our client brought amazing design touches—alphabet light fixtures, a shipping container bar, and thoughtful photo ops throughout the space.

When our team is able to take stress off a client’s plate, it frees them to bring their creative best. That was certainly the case here, and it made the event even more powerful.
A Packed Dance Floor and a Purpose Fulfilled
The evening closed with a full dance floor and a live band bringing the energy home. It was an unforgettable night—for guests, for our team, and most importantly, for the mission of the Mercy Health Foundation.

We’re already dreaming up ways to go even bigger next year.
