Most of our shows take us across the country. But this one was special, because it took place right here in our own backyard.
The Trucking Defense Advocacy Council (TDAC) Annual Conference is a national event that brings together legal professionals from across the country to discuss the latest in trucking industry litigation and policy. And in 2025, it landed at the Fayetteville Town Center, a venue we’ve known and worked in for over a decade.
It’s rare for our team to get to deliver national-level production just minutes from our homes. We’re proud of our roots here in Northwest Arkansas, and it means a lot when we get to show off what our town can do for a high-caliber event like this.
Big Stakes in a Familiar Space
The Fayetteville Town Center has hosted its fair share of local events: chamber luncheons, nonprofit galas, and community banquets. But this one was different. TDAC’s annual conference is the moment of the year for this community of legal professionals, and expectations were sky-high.
Hundreds of attorneys and industry experts gathered for a tightly orchestrated, content-heavy day of programming. It had to be flawless. And while the show is only one day on paper, the reality is that it demands months of planning and a full week of execution: load-in, rehearsal, execution, and strike.

One Client, One Week, One Shot
Our client is a full-time professional who takes this event on as a massive “other duty as assigned.” She’s not a full-time event planner, but for one month out of the year, she becomes one, and this is her biggest week. The weight of a national show rests on one person’s shoulders. That’s exactly the type of scenario where our team excels.
We know how to step in beside someone like her, wrap our arms around the entire production, and give her confidence every step of the way. We don’t just execute lighting cues and build stages, we support humans doing big things.

Planning Smart = Spending Smart
Here’s where this event stands out: it’s a single-day general session in the middle of a week of sponsor dinners and networking receptions. Some clients stretch their production needs across four or five days. Not this one.
By working with us early, our client was able to compress the main programming into one high-impact day, meaning she only paid for one day of full production. We loaded in the day before, had rehearsals, and executed a flawless show the next day.
At avad3, we don’t charge for gear sitting idle during load-in. That decision alone helped her keep a national-level show well within budget.

National Feel, Sub-500 Attendance
This audience isn’t 5,000 people. It’s fewer than 500. But they’re specialists. Experts. The best in their field. And they expect nothing short of excellence.
We deployed flown audio, wireless mics, and top-tier presentation support to meet that standard. Then we took it a step further—adding tasteful lighting and strategic set design to transform the space.
Lighting and scenic made the difference. For an event this size, a small investment in atmosphere goes a long way. The result? A room that feels like a national stage, even at a sub-500 headcount.

Long-Term Partnership, Locked-In Early
We’re proud to say this client has chosen avad3 year after year. And one of the smartest moves she makes? Locking in her venue and production team within 30 days after her show.
Most clients wait until their next event is just around the corner. By then, availability is slim and prices rise. But by confirming her date nearly a year in advance, this client stays ahead of the curve—and we get to be proactive partners in every decision leading up to next year’s event.

What You’re Seeing in These Photos
Every image from this event tells the story of doing more with less. It shows how smart decisions—concentrated programming, early planning, intentional lighting—can elevate even a modest event to national quality.
We’re proud of how this one turned out. It proves that big impact doesn’t always mean big budget—and that sometimes, the best national events don’t require a plane ticket.
